Hey, no kidding, you’re living through actual history being made in the moment. IF the DNI actually testifies today, it should be more than interesting — you can get a glimpse into the workings of the SIM by the hints laid out in the testimony, should it be permitted.
I intend to monitor the event, and suggest you do the same. Here are a few pondering items you might find of some use in rather odd and disturbing circumstances. If you’re interested in Greenland, I own a large portion of the uninhabitable regions, and the land IS for sale!
On the other hand, my real estate in Second Life is totally paying off in multiple dividends — we had a very interesting pan-galactic conference in there late last night, and I expect to run into more friends as I work the regions a bit, tightening up here and there, and adding some Halloween surprises that you can bring friends to experience!
I’ll be posting more fresh, new videos as the muse sparks me, and I’ve already got a few things in mind besides the two pieces I did yesterday and day before. I was able to work thanks to my wonderful Honda 3000 generator, but it doesn’t do what we actually need, which is a bare-bones survival with air filtration and some lights, some computers on and the FRIDGES working, so we don’t end up tossing FOUR fridge-worth of spoiled food, especially the frozen kind.
We managed through this two-day power outage okay, but we do expect more of them to happen. It’s not in the public interest that they’re doing these power blackouts — it’s to protect their own asses from possible lawsuit or claims of negligence, so they stop all electric service even if nobody can actually FEEL the wind, and don’t put it back on again until they’ve gone over the whole grid with helicopters to check for broken or downed lines.
I managed to work on my computer, but the rest of the room was totally dark — there’s just not enough juice in a 3kw generator to do very much, because every electrical device, especially motors, draw a powerful jolting surge of electrical energy each time they start up, so a 700 watt draw would add up to a 2100 watt surge, which means the generator has to be rated three times the rating of the device to be powered.
The upshot is that we need a house system, one that kicks in automatically and provides electricity to specific selected circuits in the house, possibly including the well, if it’s been wired — ours is 700 feet away from the house, so that’s a lot of ditch-witching to do before it’s installed all the way.
Okay, so the deal is, I’m going to dash in for breakfast, and then I’m assuming that we won’t find out whether there will or won’t be a testimony today, right after the first question. If he says, “the President ordered me to stonewall Congress”, I guess we won’t be hearing very much.
The hearing starts at 6:00 a.m. today, and if it’s cancelled, you’ll see me at the camera. I’ll be conducting the morning meeting as usual, if the hearing proceeds semi-normally, although what’s normal in times like these???
So either way, I recommend you immerse yourself in this great ancient 21st century history — I can’t believe these amazing vintage 2019 hybrid CARS I’m seeing everywhere! If I had one of those back in the 37th century, I could be the talk of the town, although where I’d get gasoline would be an unsolvable mystery.
